We sell safe, clean, filtered drinking water. This water is available for purchase every day of the year, and at any time of day through a water ATM system accepting purchased tokens, cash or M-PESA. We apply simple yet innovative and quality focused filtration technologies to provide safe drinking water.

Our filtration system incorporates four key components: Pre-filtration to remove all sediments and large particles; Ultra-filtration to remove all physical, organic elements; Active carbon to remove further organic components, and to provide the desired color, taste and odor; and finally UV disinfection. This is a crucial and unique last step in our process to provide the safest, cleanest drinking water possible. In addition, to further avoid re-contamination we sell new jerrycans (20 liters) that are cleaned before usage.

We understand that access to safe water is fundamental to a good quality of life and makes a major impact on the short and long-term health of families and children. We ensure a sustainable, accessible and efficient supply of safe drinking water in rural and peri-urban areas. The source of our water before filtration is lake water combined with rainwater meaning no water shortages are expected, and communities always receive a consistent and reliable source of drinking water.

How It Works

The Solar Spring Membrane Solutions provide a powerful and compact 4-step water purification system for up to 12,000 liters of drinking water per day. The system is suitable for the treatment of contaminated surface water from wells, rivers, lakes and rainwater, and delivers water quality of up to 99,999% bacteria and virus free. 4 treatment steps are combined in a simple “one-box” system, ready to be installed.

The Maji Milele Ltd Susteq Water ATM is an automated vending machine that offers possibility of water supply 24/7; independent of hub opening hours and staff presence. Water is purchased through tokens, with token recharging via MPESA or by paying cash to operator. This ATM system ensures no water loss or wastage, with automatic SMS alerts in case of problems. 2 prepaid meters allow more customers to be served at once. To help customers monitor their spending the credit value of their token is shown in KES before dispensing, in addition to a
low credit indicator feature.
