2024’s World Water Week commemoration happening in Stockholm Sweden from 25th to 29th August calls for the world to bridge borders by leveraging water for a peaceful and sustainable future.

The accessibility or inaccessibility of potable water has the potential to promote peace or community wrangles that could occur at water points when people fight to access scarce safe water. Climate change has disrupted weather patterns resulting in longer dry seasons placing a greater need for sustainable water production and consumption practices.

Understanding this critical need, we have installed 30 safe water points through our WeWater ATMs ensuring communities in rural Western Kenya living along the shores of Lake Victoria have access to affordable safe water through a seamless technology that allows them to fetch water through a simple tap of the WeWater token at the WeWater ATM’s reducing the time and distance spent by locals to access safe water.

Our WeWater technology curbs the need to queue for water and ensures 24/7 availability of safe water hence has put to end wrangles that arise at water points when everyone tries to fetch water from the same source simultaneously.

Our eco-fishing floaters and renewable fishing lanterns mitigate oil and kerosene spillage and papyrus reeds deforestation on Lake Victoria protecting her waters and aquatic life promoting the sustainability of this ecosystem.

To mitigate climate change and achieve a peaceful and sustainable future the world needs to embrace responsible production and consumption practices.

We have taken a step through our renewable WeWater and renewable fishing technology, will you be part of the responsible production and consumption call?
