As E-Mobility Africa leaders, innovators, and professionals converge at the Africa E-Mobility Week conference from 17th to 19th September in Nairobi, Kenya, we take a moment to appreciate our role and impact in transitioning rural western Kenya, particularly in Homabay and Kisumu Counties to electric mobility.
The global transportation sector is a major polluter, producing more than seven billion metric tons of carbon dioxide, a year. High fuel costs resulting from global inflation and the world’s quest to reduce C02 emissions call for a shift to climate and price-friendly transport solutions.
We have taken a step to reduce GtCO₂ through our e-bikes transitioning the bodaboda riders to electric mobility and our e-trucks which are majorly used to deliver our WeIce to our clients but we can’t achieve it alone.
We appreciate partners and stakeholders who have taken a step to transition Kenya to electric mobility and call upon more stakeholders in the mobility sector to be part of the transition. Yes, we can do this!
